Forever flowers are handmade flowers built to last indefinitely. Ours are shaped by hand from velvet chenille wire, petal by petal, in our studio in Gurgaon. There is no real plant material in them at all, so there is nothing to wilt, dry out or drop.

We also make a second kind: miniature flowers worked in solid glass over a flame, set in tiny glass vases. Both are made entirely by hand, and both last as long as you look after them.

No, and this is worth being clear about. Preserved flowers are real flowers treated with a glycerin solution so they hold their look for roughly one to three years before they fade. Dried flowers are real flowers with the moisture removed, and they go brittle over time.

Ours are neither. They are handcrafted from velvet chenille wire and from glass. Nothing organic goes into them, so nothing in them decays. If you are looking specifically for treated real roses, we are not the right shop and we would rather tell you now.

Not quite, though they are often grouped together. Crochet flowers are worked in yarn with a hook. Ours are shaped from chenille wire, sometimes called pipe cleaner or fuzzy wire, which is a soft velvety pile wrapped around a bendable wire core.

The practical difference is that a chenille bloom holds its shape and can be bent and posed, and the petal edges keep a crisp line that yarn does not. The one crochet item we do make is our Busy Bee add-on, which is hand crocheted.

Yes, in the sense that chenille stems and pipe cleaners are the same material family. What differs is the grade and the work. We use dense, high pile chenille rather than craft-store stems, and each bloom is shaped, layered and wired by hand rather than twisted into a single loop.

A bouquet takes several hours to build. That is the difference between what we make and a five minute craft project using the same raw material.

Indefinitely, with reasonable care. There is no organic matter in a chenille flower, so there is no wilting, no drying out and no petal drop. They do not need water and they do not need sunlight.

The only thing that changes them over a long time is strong direct sunlight, which can gradually soften the colour of any dyed fabric. Keep them out of a hot window and they will look the way they looked on the day they arrived.

Solid glass, worked by hand over a flame. Each flower, leaf and stem is drawn and shaped individually, then set into a small clear glass vase. The finished piece stands about 7 cm tall, roughly the length of a thumb, and sits comfortably in a palm.

Because every petal is pulled by hand, no two pieces are identical. Small differences in the curve of a petal or the set of a stem are part of how they are made, not faults.

Very close, but not identical. Every bloom is shaped by hand, so there are slight variations in size, petal placement and the exact set of an arrangement from one piece to the next. Colours can also read a little differently between screens.

These variations are the signature of something made by a person rather than a machine, and they are what make each arrangement one of a kind.

There is no pollen and no plant matter in our chenille flowers, so they cause none of the reactions fresh flowers can. They are a good choice for anyone with hay fever or pollen sensitivity.

They are decorative objects and are not to be chewed or swallowed. The chenille is wrapped around a wire core, and the glass miniatures are exactly that, glass. Keep both out of reach of small children and pets.

Fresh flowers are lovely for about five days. If you are sending something to mark an occasion, a handmade arrangement is still on the shelf on the anniversary of the day you sent it.

Almost no care is needed. A few simple things help them stay looking new:

• Do not water them. There is nothing in them that wants water, and it will mark the chenille.
• Keep them out of strong direct sunlight. Long hours of hard sun can soften the colour of any dyed fabric.
• Dust gently. A soft dry brush, or a hair dryer on its coolest setting held at a distance.
• Handle by the stem. Repeatedly pressing the petals will flatten the pile over time.

Wipe with a soft dry cloth. Do not soak them and do not put them in a dishwasher, as water can sit inside the vase and leave marks.

They are solid glass and they will break if dropped, so keep them back from the edge of a desk or shelf, and away from where a cat can reach.

Yes, and this is one of the nicer things about chenille. Every stem has a wire core, so you can gently curve a stem or open a bloom a little to suit where it is sitting. Bend slowly and in small movements. The glass pieces cannot be reshaped.

Yes, and it is free. Tick Send as a Gift on any product page and write your note, up to 250 characters. It is hand written onto our card and tucked into the packaging. If you are ordering more than one, you can send the same note on every card or a different note for each.

A tiny hand crocheted bee that sits among the blooms. You can add one to most bouquets, bunches and hat box arrangements from the product page before adding to cart. Single stems, bud vases and the glass miniatures do not take a bee, as there is nothing for it to hold on to.

We ship across India, to more than 24,000 pin codes. Delivery is free on orders of Rs 2,000 and above. Below that, delivery costs Rs 200 in Delhi NCR (Delhi, Gurugram, Noida, Greater Noida, Ghaziabad and Faridabad) and Rs 400 everywhere else in India. Cash on delivery is available.

Three to seven business days for stocked designs. Everything is made to order in our Gurgaon studio, so allow a little longer around festivals and for custom work. If you need something by a particular date, message us on WhatsApp before ordering and we will tell you honestly whether it can be done.

Every order goes into our gift box with tissue and ribbon, and that box goes inside a sturdier outer carton with cushioning around it. The glass miniatures are wrapped individually before boxing, because glass in transit needs more than a padded envelope.

We have a 24 hour exchange and return policy, and we accept returns only if your order arrives damaged. Email nisoblooms@gmail.com within 24 hours of delivery with your unboxing video, meaning a video of you opening the package showing the product. The unboxing video is required.

We do not accept returns for change of mind or lack of use. Once we have reviewed and approved your claim we will issue a full refund.
