Blue, and one loud pink. A slender stem arches up carrying a dozen small forget me nots, each with five sky blue petals and a cobalt centre, leaves stepping up between them. Beside it one ruffled pink carnation opens in frilled velvet, and a slim branch carries two buds still closed in their green calyxes. It all stands in a glass tube set into a solid pine block.
This is the one for the people you do not see often enough. Forget me nots have meant the same thing for centuries, so send it long distance, send it after a move, or leave it on a desk for someone who has been quietly missed.
