Two lotus blooms are lampworked in translucent glass, in milk white or a soft blush pink,, petals layered and drawn out to fine clear points, with a scatter of yellow or amber glass stamens at the heart. Behind them a stem of deep emerald glass carries two smooth leaves and one curling tendril, all gathered into a tiny ribbed glass vase that catches the light and throws it back.
This is the one for a windowsill, a bookshelf, or the corner of a desk where the afternoon sun lands. Send it to someone who collects small beautiful things, or keep it where the light moves through it. Every hour of the day gives it a different colour.
